Money Smart Teen




In support of Money Smart Week® 2015, taking place April 18-25, the Money Smart Week® Greater Atlanta planning team and its partner organizations are presenting the Money Smart Teen Contest. Students in high school (grades 9-12) are encouraged to answer this year’s Money Smart Question (see below) with an essay of 300 words or less. A winner and runner-up will be chosen and asked to attend the Money Smart Kick-Off luncheon on April 20th hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to the winner and a $500 scholarship to the runner-up sponsored by COUNTRY Financial. Additional prize categories may be added. The winner will be named this year’s Money Smart Teen and have the chance to spend the year as a Greater Atlanta financial literacy ambassador.

February 28 Deadline for essay submission is 5 p.m.

March 31 Winners notified, make arrangements.
