We also welcome students, recent college graduates or professionals who are interested in pursuing more formal internships with us. We do not offer paid internships. Some students may be able to get school credit for their internships.
Spring, summer and fall internships are available in the following programs:
  • Family ServicesRecommended for social work, human services, public health, clinical psychology and public policy majors
  • Employment Services
    Recommended for human services, human resources, business and management majors
  • Immigration Legal Services
    Internships available only for Emory University students during the school year. Summer internships are available to first-and second-year law school students
  • Translation Services
    Recommended for Spanish, linguistics and translation majors
  • Adult EducationRecommended for Spanish, marketing and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) majors
  • Resource Development (Communications, Fundraising and Special Events)Recommended for journalism, mass communications/media, public relations and international studies majors
  • Policy and AdvocacyRecommended for political science, public policy and international studies majors

We are now accepting applications for fall semester 2015. The LAA will be accepting applications until Friday, July 24, 2015. Fall semester internships will start in mid-August and end at the beginning of December.
