The Mackie Law Firm, which has offices in the King Tower at the Concourse near Perimeter Mall, is looking for an enterprising, driven high school student with strong writing skills to work as an intern for the remainder of the summer. The position would be for 10-15 hours a week. The intern would work with Mr. Mackie and under the supervision of Mr. Mackie's legal assistant. The position involves filing, drafting routing correspondence, and potentially helping draft discovery responses in personal injury cases. Steve Mackie, the principal of the firm, has over thirty years of legal experience. The Mackie Law Firm concentrates its litigation practice in the fields of personal injury, criminal defense, collection, and business litigation. It is possible that this position could carry over into the fall; needs would be addressed at the end of the summer. This position pays $7.25 an hour.
