Middle School Programs

Basics 101 Class this weekend

We have had a number of last minute cancellations for this weekends class.  If your middle schooler has no plans, sign them up for our Basics 101 program for this Saturday and Sunday.

NEW PROGRAM - Nov 29 & Dec 6, 2014 (2 Saturdays)

Parents of middle schoolers, we have heard your requests for additional programs for your students and have developed a part two of the middle school BASICS 101.

We are calling this program Beyond the Basics 102MS.  We have scheduled our pilot program for two consecutive Saturdays starting the end of November.  Check your calender and sign up early!!

What will be covered?  Still teaching through games and activities, we will revisit those crucial topics discussed in the earlier program but add important elements that they should learn as they grown.  Students learn that saving is the beginning of asset building and that asset building is essential for long-term wealth. Students learn to look at purchases as “will this put money in my pocket or take money out?” Students must participate in the Basics 101 Program prior to attending the Beyond the Basics 102MS program. This is a great opportunity that will have a lasting impact on the lives of students and prepare them for their financial futures.

High School BASICS 101

NOVEMBER 30 & DECEMBER 6, 2014  (SUNDAYS)
As you might have noticed, our programs have filled up quickly for the remainder of the 2014.  Our limited number of Basics and Beyond the Basics programs have frustrated many of you.  This is due to the limited number of school holidays giving students a long weekend.  However, we are piloting consecutive Saturday/Sunday programs.  This would mean your student would attend part one of the program on one weekend day and continue part two the same day one week later.  Some of you participated in our survey and were interested in the idea.  Now is your chance to take advantage.

Beyond the BasicsBeyond the Basics – 202

Ages 14-20

Students are required to participate in the prior program in order to have a good foundation of the concepts.  This two-day program will delve deeper into the importance of using credit wisely and how every action affects their ability to make future purchases, obtain insurance, and gain employment.  We will also cover diversity in investing and the pros and cons of entrepreneurship.  And so much more!
