The Procter & Gamble Leadership Academy at the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership at Morehouse College, the first of its kind at a historically black college and university (HCBU). The overarching goal of the Procter & Gamble Leadership Academy is the development of leadership TASKBs (traits, abilities, skills, knowledge and behaviors) through exposure, engagement, education and exploration.  The experiential based program consists of classroom lectures, team projects, case studies, field trips, and social and cultural events. Morehouse College faculty, staff and student peer-leaders facilitate and supervise all aspects of this 7-day summer residential program.
The 2014 Procter & Gamble Leadership Academy is designed to provide male high school students completing their sophomore or junior year of high school by June 2014 and male high school students completing their senior year in high school who have applied for admission to Morehouse College, an engaging, interactive learning environment through which they can understand the theoretical and practical principles of leadership and professionalism and how the principles are applied in one’s life. Therefore, the purpose of the Procter & Gamble Leadership Academy is to assist students in developing the TASKBs needed to foster positive, professional, and ethical leadership perspectives that will assist in their development into valuable assets for a global, civil society comprised of their families, communities, and organizations.
