Who are Sandy Springs next leaders?
It could be you ... and the 29 new friends you will meet in YLSS
Applications for the 2014-15 class are due March 1. YLSS_The_Application_2014.pdf
In YLSS, students explore Sandy Springs, looking at its government, environment, social service agencies, public safety and economic development. Classes meet at city hall, on the Chattahoochee River, behind the scenes at the police department, in jail, courtrooms and inside historic homes. Students work with business, civic and government leaders to understand what shapes our community.
From what they learn about Sandy Springs and its needs, class members will create a group service project in the spring.
