Turner Voices in the Arts is a program for high school age youth with an interest in learning more about artistic and creative careers at Turner. This week-long exploration will introduce youth to different creative career fields and will incorporate hands-on learning, tours, panels, speakers and special events, including outings to local arts establishments. This 20-student program will provide a meaningful experience for teens to engage with Turner employees and programming. Students apply on an individual basis, will be required to complete an application and provide a creative sample. An interview will be offered to finalists. Program dates are Monday, June 10 – Friday, June 14 from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Deadline to apply Saturday, March 1, 2014.

Turner Voices in Technology is a single-day, group workshop that explores technology careers at Turner and is offered to youth-focused nonprofits or schools with 501c3 affiliation. This experience will introduce the youth to one of several Turner technology-centered areas of business, including Turner Studios, Animation and Special Effects, Digital Properties, Emerging Technology, Network and Broadcast Operations and Enterprise Applications. Turner employees will engage with youth and lead activities that include speakers, panels, tours, and hands-on activities. Workshops accommodate up to 30 students. Nonprofits choose an area of interest upon applying. Turner will work with selected groups to find a date for the workshop. Deadline to apply Saturday, March 1, 2014.
