Why are you excited to attend the first ever JA Fellows Student & Alumni Networking Night? It's great to see how the program has progressed since I left. I also would love to reconnect to some of the people I met in the program while I was there to see what they're doing and how we could help each other grow.
What is your favorite memory from your time in Junior Achievement?
I remember working with my team to put together our annual report and the true pride and ownership I felt in our company after analyzing our successes and presenting in a bound format. It felt official, and it was great to see it all so well-organized.
How has your experience with Junior Achievement impacted you since high school?
Junior Achievement introduced me to the worlds of finance and business. I developed a strong interest in both fields and currently am developing programs to teach others about both. I also have developed business plans for my consulting business and work with individuals to start their own companies. I think this was one of the most amazing programs I was able to be a part of in high school- simply because the lessons I learned served as such a strong foundation for me to build upon in forming my own business. I also gained immeasurable experience working with a team of motivated individuals.
Do you still keep in contact with anyone you met through Junior Achievement?
Yes. Some of my team members and I are connected via social media, and I still connect with some of the staff members who were at Deloitte to keep them updated and receive insight on their various experiences.
