Bank of America Foundation has established the Champion Scholarship Fund in honor of a late associate, Donna L. Champion, a 20-year veteran of the bank. Presented by the Foundation for the Carolinas, The Bank of America Champion Scholarship Fund will provide undergraduate scholarships to senior high school students active in Junior Achievement of Georgia. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit, financial need, and community service.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be graduating high school seniors enrolling in college full-time during the following academic year.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
- Applicants must be active participants of Junior Achievement of Georgia.
- Applicants must plan to major in business or computer technology.
Application Procedures
- A copy of the estimated expense budget for tuition, room and board, books, etc. at the school you plan to attend next fall (Available from the school's Financial Aid Office)
- An official/unofficial copy of high school transcript.
- A 1-2 page typed essay explaining why the applicant is applying for the scholarship, their leadership qualifications, and educational and career goals.
