George and Pearl Strickland Scholarship

Purpose

For undergraduate or graduate students with financial need pursuing a degree at the Atlanta University Center colleges

 

Eligibility Criteria

•    Legal resident of Georgia

•   Enrolled or accepted for enrollment at Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, or Spelman College

•  Demonstrated financial need

•    Potential for success in chosen field

•   Commitment to community service

• Minimum 2.0 GPA

 

Award Amount

Awards range from $1,000 - $2,000

 

Scholarships Available

20 - 30 awards annually

The deadline for this scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year is February 15, 2016.
