The AT&T Foundation has announced the continuation of their scholarship program with UNCF to provide scholarships for African-American students, who are dependents of current regular full-time employees of AT&T, Inc. and its U.S. Subsidiaries.
Applicants must be a high school senior (planning to enroll in) or an undergraduate student attending any accredited two or four-year college or university. The candidates must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. The applicants must be 26 years old or younger as of February 15, 2013. Children and dependents of senior managers and officers are not eligible.
The awards of $2,500 will be granted to recipients attending a four-year college or university while the recipients of a two-year college will receive $1,500. The scholarships will be awarded for the 2013-14 Academic year.
Lastly, the candidates must have a parent that is a current full-time employee of AT&T, Inc. and its U.S. Subsidiaries to be eligible for this program.
