The specific course of
study carried out by High School Student-Interns includes:  
- using 70% of their time at the Center to complete a
     research project on an international topic of their own choosing, leading
     a staff-wide class on their topic at the culmination of their project,
     attending SCIS programs when possible, tracking current events and
     compiling stories for inclusion in the Center's timeline of international
     events, assisting SCIS Research Associates, Research Assistants, and
     College/Masters student-interns with general research tasks, 
- attending and participating in the Center's regular
     courses. 
Qualifications
To qualify for the High
School Student-Internship, an applicant must be at least 16 years of age, have
a strong interest in international affairs, have good computer skills, be able
to perform detail-oriented tasks, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
