2017 Quick Pitch Competition
Each company will deliver a 4 minute presentation on their
business concept, and present their written business plan before a panel of
judges during the scheduled meeting held on December 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th. The panel of
judges will evaluate the teams' ability to present on their ideas, and the
feasibility of their business plan. Once the judges have observed the
presentation, they will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide live
feedback on integral changes the team should consider while fine-tuning their
business plan.
After the discussion takes place, based on a set criteria and
thoughtful consideration, judges will jointly decide if the company should be
awarded, $0, $50, $75, or the full $100. Judges will then report back to
JA the amount they awarded to the team and JA will deposit the funds into the
teams' bank accounts.
